It’s the Wave Not the Water Photos for this project: 01 | 02 Hinsdale Wave Research Laboratory • Oregon State University • Corvallis, Oregon • 2004 Hinsdale Wave Research Laboratory is the home of the world’s largest tsunami wave basin. The director of the facility expressed a desire to have the artwork convey to the outside world what goes on inside the building. Green, blue and white reflectors are adhered to ivory colored acrylic sheets in bands creating the 6’ x 32’ artwork that represents a tsunami wave morphing into a breaking wave.         Next Commission | Back to commissions index
